Hi there and welcome to my blog! My name’s Laura and I’m currently doing a horticultural apprenticeship in Sussex. I’m writing this blog partly for me; to keep track of all I learn at work and in college, and for anyone else who may be thinking of switching careers like me or just to learn more about gardening.
I’ve spent the last decade pursuing a film career and have worked many years as a video editor. Being made redundant and seeing no jobs out there that excite me or would allow me to spend enough time with my young daughter, I re-evaluated my life and decided I needed a massive change.
I’m at the very start of my journey into a horticultural career and am looking forward to sharing my experiences in this blog.
